Heart stuff
So, here's what's going on. After my episode with my heart down at Kennestone hospital, they wanted me to follow up with a primary care doc. Went to one in Cartersville and pretty much just saw the doc, no tests, no bloodwork, etc. Tasha was less than thrilled with this, and neither was I. I ended up going to another doctor down in Marietta who is connected with the hospital, and have already been given another EKG, bloodwork to test for high cholesterol, and now I've got a stress test and electrocardiogram in a few weeks. I'm guessing that my new doc saw something on my paperwork from the hospital that she wants to get checked out, but I'd rather get it done and know I'm in the clear rather than only take my high blood pressure medicine.
On a less concerning note, I have been accepted into Liberty University's online program for Christian Leadership. I'm not quite sure where God will lead us with it, but I do know that it's the right thing to do. It's a one year program of study that will get me ready for a bevy of positions within the church or church organizations. I'm not quite sure where God will put me for a ministry, but I'm trusting completely!
Got to run for now. Inevitably, I have yard work to do and it's raining. :\ More later...

One more quick thing...
There is one more thing for me to state here. I feel that God's really been working in my life recently, so it might be for a reason that I may not be at Bank of America for too long. I think that God is leading me towards a place in the church, but I don't know where yet. I just know that every time that I pray for guidance on this, I know that God is completely there and leading me to this. I'm not sure what path I have to take yet, but I know that I'll get there soon. :)

Wow, long time.
So, Dad reminded me that I have a blog and I should post something! :D
Things have been sort of crazy for me the last month or so. I got a job with Bank of America, and a week later I came down with bronchitis. No big deal, take a couple of days off and then I'll be back to normal. Not so much. The week after I come back, I get sick that week with an ear infection stemming from the bronchitis. Well, I get back to work, work for another week and a half, then I come down with heart palpitations. I went to the hospital and got everything worked out. I stayed out for the weekend this last weekend, and then yesterday, came home AGAIN with high blood pressure. I went today to the doc, and they have me on medicine for it, so hopefully I'll be fine. It's just that I've got to talk to my supervisor when I get back. Not so good. We'll see what happens this week, and I'll update everybody.
Got to run for now, bad storms coming. More later...

Sleepy
So, here it is, 2:15 in the morning and I am still pretty much awake. Having insomnia doesn't help things too much when you're fighting a headcold. At least I know that I get to sleep in tomorrow and that vacation time is coming up really soon. We've set a decent budget for this coming month so that we can go to Florida and Virginia. I know we're going to be in FL for 5 days, then in VA for at least 4.
It feels like graduation was a month ago now, even though it's only been two weeks. I sort of dislike this long layoff before work starts for me. I did get my letter of intent to work for Bank of America the other day, so it is in the mail. I think that this is a good starting job for me, even though right now I'm not exactly thrilled about working in collections. Nevertheless, it's a job, and it'll help put food on the table for the time being. I'm going to keep my resume out for a while longer, and we'll see what happens.
Ok, going to try to get to sleep. Hopefully it'll come pretty soon. :) More later!

Graduation
So, I was looking at graduation pictures on AJC.com and saw the Kindergarten graduation pictures for some kids. Ok...first of all, what exactly are we celebrating? Congrats! You don't pee on yourself anymore! I mean, honestly. This kid had the cap and gown and a tassel. His parents must have dropped nearly $100 for this. Is it really necessary? What are we going to have next, class rings for kindergartners?! They already have them in Middle School, so why not?
I guess I just don't get it. :P
More later! :D

Doctors...
I am getting so tired of doctors not explaining things to us BEFORE they do $400 worth of work. Today, because Tasha didn't have any cysts (thank God), they said that any prescription or any work done would be in treatment rather than just diagnosis. They didn't even mention this to us at any point. Tasha argued with them, so they took $100 off, but we still have around $250 left to pay. Grr. And the worst part of all of this is that basically they are charging us full price for stuff that a regular OBGYN could do with us only paying for a co-payment. So, in essence, I guess we're going to stop taking all of the meds for a while, stop going to this doc and just go to the OBGYN again. If they aren't going to do anything more than them, why keep wasting our money? I mean, honestly, we aren't even halfway through the year and we've spent over $2000 on just doctor bills! Who needs savings, right? Thank God again that we haven't fallen behind on any of our regular bills.
I'll let y'all know how things go...more later...
